Donate to the Jewish Museum Curaçao
The Jewish Museum Curaçao preserves, protects, and presents the unique story of Jewish life on our island. Whether you support us with a donation, a legacy gift, a historical object, or even second-hand items for our shop, your contribution helps keep this story alive for future generations. Donating is easy like 1-2-3

#1 Monetary Support & Legacy Giving
Your financial gift directly supports our exhibits, collections care, educational programs, and daily operations. We welcome:

  • One-time donations
  • Planned giving or legacy gifts
  • Donations in honor of a loved one

You may also choose to sponsor a specific project. In Jewish tradition, the number 18 represents chai — life. We invite you to give in multiples of XCG 180 or any amount that feels meaningful to you.

Past gifts have made a lasting impact:

  • Ena Dankmeyer-Maduro left a legacy in her will that is funding the renewal of our permanent exhibitions.
  • Paco Diz donated in honor of Morris E. Curiel to restore all the museum’s artwork.
  • Artist Suzanne Perlman donated hundreds of copies of her book Motifs of Curaçao to help us raise funds.
  • Loretta Moreno donated dozens of The Privileged by Elias Moreno Brandao for the same purpose.

#2 Donate or Loan Objects
Do you own photographs, documents, Judaica, or personal items related to Jewish life in Curaçao? We are always seeking historical materials to bring our exhibits to life. We also welcome eulogies, stories, and memorabilia connected to key events or figures.

We are currently seeking:

  • Photographs or documents from Jewish life during WWII
  • Judaica, art, and everyday items from local Jewish families
  • Eulogies from all Curaçao Jews
  • Home videos of Jewish events and/or family life

Have something that might be of interest to us, please reach out to our curator:

#3 Donate Second-Hand Goods
As part of our new museum shop, we have launched a curated selection of second-hand items from local Jewish estates — from vintage tableware and books to Judaica and art.

All proceeds go to supporting the museum, and each object will come with a story, helping visitors take home a piece of Curaçao’s Jewish heritage.

Do you have something you’d like to donate or want us to sell with a commission? Let’s talk.
